Breakfast with Santa

Aaron's school had Breakfast with Santa last week. They had breakfast tacos, donuts and hot chocolate and got to sit in Santa's lap. There were also some booths so the parent's could shop for gifts. The kids had fun.
You might notice that Aaron is holding a stuffed fish in his lap! He was "Guppy of the Week" at school (his class is the "guppies"), which means he got to bring the guppy home and take pictures of the stuff they did with it. There were some other fun activities at school too. Aaron really liked being Guppy of the Week.

Christmas cards

I had a very hard time getting a decent photo for my Christmas cards this year. This one almost made the cut! I ended up picking one that's more of a close-up, but Aaron's eyes are kind of closed because he is laughing. Anyway, this one is cute, too!

Airplane!

James has a coworker who is a pilot and sometimes he takes James for a ride in his plane. This time Aaron and Mia got to go see the plane and they were very impressed. Although, Aaron was a bit disapointed that he didn't get to go up in the plane too. We got to watch it take off and see lots of other planes take off and land. Then, the kids got home and played with toy planes the rest of the day...

Thomas the Train

Today the kids got to ride on Thomas the train! I bought the tickets months ago but didn't tell Aaron. We told Aaron we had a surprise and he didn't know what we were going to do until we were walking around the corner to the Convention Center and there was a big train. It was hard for me not to tell him but the surprise was fun. The ride is only about 30 minutes long, but the kids enjoyed it. It was a beautiful day and the weather was perfect for the open windows on the train. Now we are thinking our next vacation should be a train ride somewhere! We'll see...

Princess Tea Party

Mia was invited to a Princess Tea Party today - the 3rd birthday of one of her school mates. It was pretty cute - they had tea, lemonade and little sandwiches. Mia had fun - poor Aaron was home sick. I included a picture of him, too.
